Who can resist a cupcake? I was in Portland and on the way home I decided to stop by Saint Cupcake and get a little treat. I've heard a lot about Saint Cupcake and was dying to try it out. I decided to try the Toasted Coconut Cream and the Chocolate with Cream Cheese Frosting. I really wanted to try the Red Velvet cupcake, but that is only available on Fridays and Saturdays, I guess I'll have to go back. They also have a cupcake made with malt balls that looks very interesting. I thought the cupcakes were good, but not as good as Sprinkles and Magnolia Bakery. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the Saint Cupcakes, they are a bit small compared to other cupcake places. Jeff likes the frosting better at Saint Cupcake but likes the cake better at Sprinkles. Is there a way to combine the two?

I love cupcake shops--when I'm worn out of work, I daydream about owning a bakery--sadly I should've done it sooner--too many people in the cupcake biz now. It's funny--I've even heard of St. Cupcake via Facebook. Hope you're well--I have the Magnolia Bakery cookbook--you can check it out when you come!
Oh I love Cupcakes. Those look dang good.
I LOVE St. Cupcake, their frosting is amazing! I also recently tried their Elvis which is a banana cupcake with peanut butter frosting, that was yummy and unique. I haven't tried sprinkles, apparently I need to!
Mmmmmmmm......cupcakes!! I kinda want to try that maltball one - candy and cupcakes all rolled into one tasty treat? What could beat that?
Oh how I miss our Sprinkles runs, Jamie!!
Oh I am SO jealous.
Looks good. I love the cupcakes.
