We are so happy that Jeff is done with winter quarter at school and to celebrate we decided to take a trip to Hood River. It's about an hour drive from Portland to Hood River. We left Friday afternoon and came home Saturday. It was a bit rainy and cold (at least for me), but it was nice to get away for a couple of days. We stayed at a little quaint hotel in downtown Hood River. The location was perfect because we were able to walk around the main street and check out all the shops. We ate at a fun restaurant called
Celilo, I had the salmon and it was delicious.
Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Hood River at night.

Me, also standing in front of our hotel, I couldn't find anyone to take a picture of us together. You can see a little bit of the Columbia river on the right hand side of this picture.

I love to climb stairs for a workout and I noticed this set of stairs close to our hotel. It looks like the stairs go on forever. Next time I'm definitely bringing workout clothes and running shoes.

We had a wonderful weekend and I can't wait to go back.
