I love Candy Corn, so when I saw this watercolor by Caitlin McGaughley, I had to post it on our blog. Halloween just isn't Halloween without Candy Corn.
Hi Jamie! The cake that the Shirley's love is a recipe my great-grandma made for my dad for years and years and now we all ask for it for our birthdays. It's angel food cake torn up and mixed with a chocolate cream and then molded in a spring form pan and chilled and then covered in whipped cream and pistachios. Sounds weird, but it's delicious!
