Ward Christmas Dinner

Last Saturday was our Ward Christmas Dinner. We had a wonderful time visiting with people in the ward and the food was amazing. We are lucky to have a professional chef in the ward who cooked the dinner. The first course was a roasted pepper carrot soup. The main course was a choice between tenderloin wellington with mashed potatoes or rosemary chicken with risotto. I had the chicken and Jeff got the pork, both dishes were absolutely delicious. The dessert was also very good, it was a chocolate mousse in a chocolate cup. Here are some pictures. Notice Jeff's Christmas tie, everyone in the ward loved it.

I am so jealous. It sounds wonderful. I would love the recipe for the soup. Jeff--you look very happy--I am happy for you. Your favorite cousin!

That sounds SO good. I am not a fan of the snow..I stay inside as much as I can. Remember that Portland is only 5 hours away if you are ever in the mood to travel eastward!

That dessert looks AMAZING! It's a far cry from what we had at our ward dinner, which wasn't bad but holy cow. That's awesome.
