Fashion Focus: Boat Shoes

I love shoes and I always notice the shoes people wear. That's one thing I noticed right off the bat when I met Jeff, he has great taste in shoes. When Jeff and I were in New York City back in September, I noticed that everyone had Sperry Top-Siders on. Seriously, EVERYONE had them on. I don't know if it's more of an east coast thing, but I love the classic, preppy look of those shoes. I also have a thing for the classic style that is usually seen with those shoes. I'm now thinking I need to add some boat shoes to my wardrobe. I remember having some navy boat shoes when I was a younger, I loved them. Funny how fashion repeats itself, if I could only fit in those shoes now.

I'm in love with the Angelfish style below. I just can't decide which color I like the best.

I just love the preppy style in these pictures.

I was excited to get the new JCrew Catalog and see that they have added some colorful new Top-Siders to their Spring collection.

Sperry Top-Sider has recently opened the first stand alone store in Manhattan on Fifth Avenue. I'll have to put that store on my list for our next trip to New York City.

Yep, I think that boat shoes are definitely making a comeback.

Auto Show

Last weekend we went to the Portland Auto Show. We had such a fun time last year, we knew we had to go again. We invited our friends Brooke and Marc to come along this year and we had a blast checking out all the cars

It usually ends up being a night of seeing what cars Jeff can comfortably fit in. You would be surprised at how many cars are not built for tall guys.

I can't remember what car this one is, but Jeff seems to be pretty comfortable.

This one is a BMW 7 series. I've always loved BMWs, there is just something about that car. I could definitely get used to driving this.

Kind of a blurry picture of Jeff, I really need to work on taking pictures with my iPhone, It seems like they are always blurry.

Yay, another car that seems to work.
